Writing is not a skill that is focused on in 4K.  It is not expected upon entering Kindergarten that your student can write.  If you choose to practice handwriting at home the following is the format the BW school district teaches in Kindergarten.

About Me:

I grew up in New Richmond, WI with my three siblings and my parents.  I am currently living in River Falls. I enjoy reading, fishing, camping, site seeing, and spending time with my family and friends.  I have a cat named Rooster and a dog named Scarlett. I do not enjoy cooking or folding laundry.  I am, however, the rare breed that likes to clean!

I decided when I was 5 years old I was going to be a teacher.  I spent two years at UWRF before transfering to UW-Stout where I recieved a BS in Early Childhood Education and an Early Childhood Special Education Certification.  I am eager to continue taking classes and work towards a Masters soon.

Since college I have taught Early Chlidhood Special Ed. and 4K in neighboring districts.  This is my fourth year with BW; I look forward to learning and growing with the BW staff, students, and families.  I am very excited to be teaching EC with the Baldwin-Woodville team!
